RE: Exterior tab le project

I have a plastic one it looks like it is made of metal not only does it fold the legs fold inside while the table folds like a billfold. I got mine at CW years ago. I have seen camping tables that roll up like a blanket, others that just fold all can be had at K-Mart or Wall*Mart.

RE: Dinette Bed Strength

I added "door strengtheners" channels to the underside of my table I'm a big guy. the channels were bought at a RV dealer that was before we had a Home depot or Lowe's.

RE: Questions about making the beds.

On my old POP-UP the canvas covering the ends was loose all around. I would fold the canvas out of the way and make up the beds from outside using fitted sheets ect. New POP-UP canvas is not loose I just fold mattress in half hook fitted sheets onto it and let it flip back into position then I put the sheet on the end closes to the living quarters. Does any of that make sense?

RE: Is the midwest the best place to own a RV today?

Yep, Kansas is real exciting. :R VERY FUNNY! let's not pick on Kansas. We pick on those we love. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. If you have ever owned horses, cows you will know thats true. I want to see the north west (notice my map) then I can die happy. PETE

RE: cross country

2 Years ago I traveled from Ohio to California and back. last year I spent 2 weeks in Florida in the spring. and 3 weeks in the summer Ohio to Maine. Keep the axles lubed and the tires pumped up and enjoy your trip. I went to southern California what part are you visiting? PETE

RE: Refrigerator fan help needed

Like mike says if the fan is mounted above to draw air out then the fan has less chance of blowing the flame out when using propane. I installed both 120 volt and 12 volt fans on my old trailer. Why? because I had a 120 fan and installed it first and added the 12 volt later today, I would only add a 12 volt.

RE: Our TT is too big! What to do?? Sell on own/Trade??

I say sell it get a smaller one then in a couple of years you can trade in the smaller one for a larger one because you realize you need more room. But that's just my way of doing things.... :B

RE: 12 Volt Power Outlet (Cigarette Lighter)

How about getting one with the television amp built in? Then if you have a TV antenna it would be powered for a much better signal. With the new digital TV coming I get 27 channels sitting here at my house using a digital converter before I could get 5 channels. PETE

RE: No drill for me!! I did get another mod done though

I too was going to suggests you lube everything. On my POP-UP that's what I did. sears 19 volt lifts the top easy. I have marks on the lift arm so I know when I get to within one inch of full up I stop there and use the crank the last inch. and I only use crank to lower the top. Mine doesn't have a roof mount AC. RE: My first mod!!

That is a bad looking table. Why would anyone have it in their pop-up? If I were you I would give it away to the first sucker I saw. Since I don't live to far from KY I guess I could come and take it off your hands.;) ;) :B PETE

RE: With My Whole Heart, Thank You for My Freedom!!!

I'll bet those of us Vets who served during Peace time never thought of ourselves as heroes or even protectors of the Country while we were serving. But now looking back 48 years we did what was needed and we did it well. I'm proud to have served, the only one in my family except my uncle who although a Consciousness objector, served as a Medic and was at the battle of the bulge and other places to ghastly to recall. They as the Vet's who've fought in all the wars since WWII are the real hero's. But let's not forget the Love ones who stayed behind they too are Heros. PETE

RE: "Eavestrough" question

My TT had a leak at the butt joint of the two pieces of gutter. I just used some epoxy to fill in the crack from the unseen water side. Just make sure not to make a dam so the rain water still flows. 10 minutes in my driveway was better than 2 weeks at the dealer. I did the same.
